Established on August 19, 2005 with the first meetimg held on August 15, 2006, the goal of the Commission is to promote the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the daily activities, services, and employment opportunities within the community.
The Commission’s plan is to aide city officials in ensuring compliance with federal and state disability laws. The Commission will provide information and act as a referral service for individuals, businesses, and organizations on all matters pertaining to disability.
The second Thursday of each month at 2:00 p.m.
