The South Coast Rail Project is Underway in Fall River

This article above includes information released by the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority about the South Coast Rail Project coming to Fall River. The South Coast Rail Project will roll out in phases, first with Phase one and then with the Full Build. Phase One will be extending a secondary line west to the current Middleborough/Lakeville line and build the Fall River and New Bedford lines. Full Build will include extending the Stoughton Line south connecting more communities to Fall River and New Bedford. In addition to the South Coast Rail Project information of the Safety First Program is included, which educates people on how to stay safe around train tracks.
