The official peace statue of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts designated by the legislature in 1998. Resides in Memorial Park in the center of the town of Orange.
12-foot bronze sculpture, created by Joseph Pollia in 1934 as a memorial to veterans of World War I.
A plaque on the base carries the inscription “It Shall Not Be Again” against a shrouded figure of grief
13 stars honor Orange veterans who died in the war.
