Property Values for Fiscal Year 2019

The City of Fall River, Massachusetts has completed proposed assessments
for FY2019, and received “preliminary certification” from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue (DOR). The DOR has granted permission to hold Public Disclosure of the proposed assessments prior to the final certification. The proposed assessments can be viewed at the Assessor’s Office located at 1 Government Center, Fall River, MA. 3rd-floor room 313, from Thursday, November 8, 2018, thru Thursday, November 15, 2018. City Hall hours of operation are Monday –Friday 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. excluding Wednesday. The Government Center is open from 9:00 a.m. -7:00 p.m. every Wednesday. Viewing may also take place at the Fall River Public Library from Thursday, November 8, 2018– Thursday, November 15th, 2018. The proposed values will be available on the City website at www.fallriverma.org. The disclosure period provides the opportunity for taxpayers to review their property data and proposed assessment.
The FY 2019 assessments should reflect fair market value as of January 1, 2018. These assessments are based on market activity that occurred during the calendar year 2017.
