Labor Service Applicants
Labor Service is a composite of all Civil Service positions whose duties are such that a suitable selection for such positions may be made based upon registration pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 31, Section 28.
Labor Service is divided into three classes:
Class I – Laborers – No experience required
Class II – Skilled Laborers – Minimum of one year of experience in a related field required.
Class III – Mechanics and Craftsmen – Minimum of two years of experience in a related field required.
