EEE (Eastern Equine Encephalitis) Update

The risk of EEE in Fall River continues to be elevated. Residents should continue to protect themselves from mosquito bites by staying indoors during peak mosquito hours (dusk – dawn), applying insect repellent when outdoors, draining standing water where mosquitos breed, and repairing screens in doors and windows.
