Assessor’s Office – New Procedures for Income & Expense Worksheets and Personal Property Forms of List

The City of Fall River Assessor’s Office is dedicated to the continual improvement of the quality of assessment information and to being responsive to the taxpayers of Fall River.

In previous years the Assessor’s office mailed out the Income and Expense forms and Forms of List applications.

This year starting the first week in January 2018 we will be sending out yellow postcards with instructions on how to download a copy of the Income and Expense worksheets which are now available online or you can pick up a copy in the Assessor’s office.  This form must be returned by MARCH 1, 2018 to the Assessor’s Office.

MGL CH.59, Sec.38D provides that the failure to respond timely and accurately to this information request within 60 days of the postmark shall cause you to lose your right to appeal your assessment and will result in the levy penalty of a $250 dollars for Commercial & Industrial property and $50 dollars for residential property.
