in 1845. The Borden Home is a Greek Revival House which has
been a city landmark since the infamous ax murders of Andrew
and Abby Borden on August 4, 1892. Guests are treated to a breakfast
similar to the one the Bordens ate on the morning of the murders,

Victorian-era 1873 House was a
private residence until 1895
when it was sold and became the home of the Sisters of Mercy
Convent.
