If you are a business or homeowner, you may also contact

at (508)-995-6400 and inform them that you have graffiti

you would like removed from your property.

→ Document graffiti with a photo or writing a brief description of the graffiti. Be sure to include all pertinent information (address, location, date).

→Report graffiti to the Police Department and give them the photograph and information. This provides valuable information to the police allowing them to identify possible suspects,gang activity, etc.

→Contact the Office of Neighborhood Outreach. If you do not wish to contact the police, this office will forward information to the appropriate individual.

Tips for Removing Graffiti

→Identify the surface type and the substance to be removed. This information is vital to either the City or the County in any graffiti removal effort.

→Select the appropriate removal method. In some instances removal can be completed with specialized cleaning products.

→Remove graffiti immediately; this sends the message that graffitiwill not be tolerated and that future graffiti will not last (See Broken Window Theory).

→Apply a protective coating or paint to make removing graffiti easier in the future.

→Date of Request, Owner(s) name, Owner(s) address, Owner(s) Telephone #, Owner(s) Email - if available, Location of Graffiti, Estimated Size of Area Defaced, Type of Surface Material (Wood, Metal, Brick, Concrete, Glass, Other-If other, please explain.

Copy and Paste Indemnification Agreement and/or contact the Neighborhood Outreach Office to have a release sent to you or come in and pick one up.

contractors hired by it from and all

claims, liability, loss or damage which

may arise from said service.

I/We further hereby agree to

indemnify and defend the City of Fall River,

its agents, employees,

officials and contractors hired by it

against all claims for damages or

compensation, including attorney’s

fees, that the City of Fall River, its

agents, employees, officials or

contractors hired by it may have to

pay if any claims arise as a result of

said services.
