The City of Fall River offers Express Scripts and Fall RiverMeds as prescription discount programs for its employees.

Express Scripts – Mail Service Prescription Program

As a member of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, employees can use their Mail Service Prescription Drug Program to buy certain medications.  It’s a great way to save by purchasing prescriptions on a long-term basis.  For more information and to download a form, log on to  www.bcbs.com and click on Pharmacy Coverage or Form Library.

FallRiverMeds Program Employee Program

CanaRx offers a voluntary international mail order service option for Brand Name Maintenance medications, through the FallRiverMeds program, for city employees, retirees and their dependents. 

Program benefits include:

• There is no co-payment for the name brand medications and CanaRx will send you a $25.00 bonus for all 90-day prescriptions.
• When an employee/retiree purchases their medications from Canada, they receive a 3 month supply and pay no co-payment.

Prescription drugs discount for residents

CanaRx Services Inc. is a mail order program designed to save United States residents 35% to 60% on their prescription medications. CanaRx Services Inc. has implemented multiple safeguards and safety checks into each step of the enrollment and ordering processes.  Plan participants will need to allow 20 days for delivery.
